Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy
After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
An imaginative landscape chart generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Bundle Tiers
Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Starting at thirty dollars, the 39-item bundle contains these components:

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
