I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
